Pittyvaich Care Home is recruiting Registered Nurses to join its team in Inverness.
This role suits an NMC registered nurse who is committed to delivering high standards of person centred care in a residential setting.
The role
You will provide evidence based nursing care to residents.
You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care plans.
You will administer medications and support NHS and GP visits.
You will act as Shift Leader when required.
You will maintain accurate clinical records and complete physiological assessments.
You will liaise with medical and non medical professionals.
You will provide palliative care support to residents and their families where required.
You will support and guide care home staff during shifts.
You will manage nursing equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
You will participate in audits and adhere to the Parklands Quality Management System.
Working pattern
The role is 40.25 hours per week.
Shifts operate on a rotational basis covering days and nights.
Weekend working forms part of the rota.
What we are looking for
You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
You must have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available.
You should have strong clinical skills and sound professional judgement.
You must be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
A compassionate and professional approach is essential.
What is on offer
£22.00 to £24.00 per hour.
