SOLV Limited
SOLV Limited is looking for a Flow Measurement Engineer to join their specialist team in Fort William.
This is a chance to work in one of Scotland’s most respected engineering consultancies in the oil and gas flow measurement and hydrocarbon allocation sector.
SOLV designs, audits and supports measurement systems used across the world, and the work they do underpins accuracy, safety and commercial integrity for major operators.
The role can suit experienced engineers as well as strong analytical candidates looking to train into the discipline.
As a Flow Measurement Engineer you will manage projects from early bid work through to final delivery.
You will learn how metering hardware works, how measurement standards are applied, and how fluid behaviour influences the calculations that underpin flow and allocation decisions.
You will use SOLV’s established templates to deliver accurate results while also contributing to new approaches and tools.
SOLV operates under UKAS accreditation to ISO 17020 for inspection services and is certified to ISO 9001 for its quality management system, so the work carries real technical weight and professional credibility.
You will support or lead system reviews, inspections, audits and site work.
You will carry out measurement and allocation calculations.
You will help develop procedures, specifications and manuals.
You will investigate technical issues when systems do not behave as expected.
