Breedon Group is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter to join its operations and maintenance team at Daviot Quarry and Asphalt Plant near Inverness.
This role suits someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys hands on work in a busy industrial environment.

The role

You will carry out maintenance and repair work on quarry plant and machinery.

You will complete daily inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns.

You will support the safe and efficient operation of the site.

You will work closely with colleagues as part of a small, close knit maintenance team.

You may be required to support maintenance work at other sites within the region.

You will follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

Working pattern

This is a full time, permanent role based onsite.

Occasional night and weekend working may be required.

What we are looking for

You will have a mechanical background with experience in a Mechanical Fitter role.

You will be proactive, reliable, and practical in your approach to work.

You will have good communication and problem solving skills.

You will be flexible and willing to adapt to operational requirements.

You will hold a valid UK driving licence.
