Abbeyfield Ballachulish is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the team at one of the highest rated care homes in Scotland.
This is a Band 5 role offering the chance to work in an award-winning environment known for excellent standards of care.
You will support residents with palliative and intermediate nursing needs, working closely with the Manager and Deputy Manager as part of a small, dedicated team.
You will help maintain the warm, homely atmosphere the care home is known for while delivering a high standard of clinical care.
You will assess, plan and deliver individual care plans.
You will support residents and their families with dignity, respect and compassion.
You will help maintain daily contact with residents and encourage involvement in activities.
You will work with colleagues and external services to improve care pathways.
You will help promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
The ideal candidate is a Band 5 Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
You should have strong general nursing skills, a caring and empathetic approach, and the confidence to work independently when required.
Experience in palliative or elderly care is beneficial.
