Portree Nursery is recruiting sessional staff to support its childcare provision, with the possibility of progressing into full time roles for the right candidates.
This is a flexible opportunity suited to people who enjoy working with children, value teamwork, and want to be part of a supportive early years environment.
The role
You will support daily nursery activities in line with care and learning standards.
You will help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children.
You will work closely with the nursery team to support routines and activities.
You will follow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times.
Hours and pay
A range of hours available for the ideal candidate.
Starting rate of £12.50 per hour, with increases available for qualified staff.
Sessional work with the potential for full time employment.
What we’re looking for
A caring and reliable approach.
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
An interest in working in early years childcare.
Relevant qualifications are welcomed but not essential, depending on the role.
