Howdens is hiring an Assistant Depot Manager to support the day to day running of its busy Portree depot.
This role suits someone organised and customer focused who can lead a team and support depot performance.
The role
Support the management and development of the depot team
Deliver strong customer service in person and over the phone
Assist in driving sales and depot performance
Ensure accurate processing of orders and stock control
Maintain compliance and operational standards
Step in to manage the depot when required

Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience in a sales or depot environment preferred
Organised and reliable approach
Ability to support and motivate a team
Confident handling day to day operations
