By posting a job, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Highland Jobs.
- Employers must provide accurate business information when posting roles.
2. Account Registration
To post jobs or apply for roles, users must register an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for breaches of these Terms.
3. User Responsibilities
All users agree to use the platform legally and ethically.
Employers agree to:
- Post only genuine, lawful job opportunities
- Avoid discriminatory or misleading language
- Respond appropriately to applicants
Users may not upload, share, or promote content that is false, offensive, illegal, or infringes upon the rights of others.
4. Platform Use & Direct Hiring
Highland Jobs facilitates direct interaction between employers and candidates.
We do not act as an agent or intermediary in the hiring process.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of job posts, the quality of applicants, or the outcomes of employment discussions or offers.
5. Payments & Fees
Some features, such as posting jobs or upgrading to Featured listings, require payment. Prices are clearly stated at checkout.
All payments are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing or if a technical issue on our part prevents the service from being delivered.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing or fee structures. Any changes apply only to future transactions.
6. Featured Listings & Bundles
Employers may purchase Featured upgrades to enhance visibility of job listings.
Employers may also purchase bundles (e.g., 3 or 5 listings) to be used within a defined period. Bundle usage terms are stated at time of purchase.
Unused listings from expired bundles are not refundable.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Violate any laws while using Highland Jobs
- Impersonate any person or organisation
- Distribute viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Harvest or scrape user data
- Misuse the platform for commercial or spam purposes
8. Content Ownership & Usage
Users retain ownership of any content they upload (e.g. job listings).
By submitting content, you grant Highland Jobs a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, promote, and distribute that content on our platform and associated channels (e.g. social media, partner sites).
9. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of Highland Jobs is also governed by our [Privacy Policy], which outlines how we collect, store, and protect your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.
10. Disclaimer
Highland Jobs acts as a listing and communication platform only.
We do not verify users, job posts, and we do not guarantee job offers, applicant quality, or employment outcomes.
You use the platform entirely at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Highland Jobs disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to:
- Lost data
- Employment disputes
- Hiring decisions
- Platform downtime
12. Modifications
We may revise these Terms at any time.
Continued use of Highland Jobs after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate user accounts without prior notice for violations of these Terms or other abuse of the platform.
