The Marine Hotel in Mallaig is recruiting Chefs and Kitchen Porters to join its kitchen team ahead of the busy season.
These roles suit reliable people who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well established local hotel.
The role
Preparing and cooking dishes to the hotel’s menu and standards for Chef roles.
Supporting food preparation and service during busy periods.
Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment for Kitchen Porter roles.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas.
Working as part of a team to support smooth kitchen operations.
Working pattern
Shifts scheduled across the week.
Evening and weekend work required on a rota basis.
Hours can be discussed to suit full time or part time availability.
What we are looking for
For Chef roles, previous kitchen experience is required.
For Kitchen Porter roles, no experience is required.
A reliable and hardworking approach.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Willingness to follow food hygiene and safety procedures.
