Hop Skip and Jump Nursery
Hop Skip and Jump Nursery in Forres is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner to support the care and learning of young children in its nursery setting.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with children and wants to help create a calm, supportive environment where they can learn and grow through play.
The role
You will work as part of the nursery team supporting the day to day care and learning of children.
The role includes helping to plan and deliver play based activities that support children’s development.
You will help create a safe and welcoming environment where children feel confident to explore and take part in activities.
You will work closely with colleagues to support each child’s learning and wellbeing.
You will help maintain a calm, organised nursery environment throughout the day.
Working pattern
This is a part time role of 20 hours per week during school term time.
Working hours will be arranged with the nursery team.
What we are looking for
Someone who enjoys working with young children and supporting their development through play.
A reliable and caring approach to working with children and colleagues.
Someone who works well as part of a small team.
A relevant childcare qualification is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience in an early years setting would be helpful but is not essential.
