Corner on the Square is recruiting a Head Chef to lead its award winning deli and cafe kitchen in Beauly.
This role suits an experienced chef who can take responsibility for standards, team leadership and menu delivery in a busy hospitality setting.
The role
You will lead, train and supervise the kitchen team.
You will oversee menu planning, development and execution.
You will ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
You will manage stock control, ordering and food cost management.
You will ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
You will work closely with front of house staff to maintain smooth service.
You will contribute to maintaining a professional and positive working environment.
Working pattern
The business operates seven days per week.
The role is 42.5 hours per week.
There are no split shifts and no late evenings.
You will receive two consecutive days off each week.
What we are looking for
Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef is essential.
You must be confident managing a team and setting standards.
You should have strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
You must be organised and able to manage stock and cost control.
A professional and steady approach is essential.
