A private estate at Loch Nevis is seeking an experienced couple to take on the joint roles of Holiday Cottage Manager and Estate Operations Manager from 2026, with the potential for a longer term appointment.
This opportunity suits a practical, self motivated couple who enjoy working together in a remote setting while delivering high standards of care, maintenance, and guest experience.

The role

Holiday Cottage Manager and Housekeeper responsibilities include overseeing weekly changeovers for three self catering holiday cottages during the May to October letting season.
Cleaning and preparing the main lodge when occupied and managing laundry for the cottages and main house using the dedicated on site laundry facilities.
Maintaining high standards of presentation through a rolling programme of cleaning in the main house.
Responding to guest enquiries and bookings through the booking agency.
Updating social media pages and assisting with guest communications.
Supporting the care of the estate kitchen garden and provisioning the main house and cottages as required.

Estate Operations Manager responsibilities include working closely with the estate manager on day to day estate operations.
Undertaking repair and maintenance work to estate properties and infrastructure.
Assisting with water systems, off grid power systems, and general estate maintenance.
Gardening, ground maintenance, and outdoor upkeep across the estate.
Carrying out boat and equipment maintenance and repairs.
Supporting small holding and farming related activities as required.

Working pattern

Full time roles based on the estate at Loch Nevis.
Seasonal workload focused on the main letting period, with year round responsibilities.
Remote working environment requiring flexibility and self organisation.

A couple with relevant experience in property management, housekeeping, estate work, or maintenance roles.
A practical and organised approach with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a guest focused mindset.
The ability to work independently and as part of a small, close knit team.
Comfort working in a remote rural environment.
