Street League is recruiting an Operations Manager to lead and develop its work across North Scotland, as part of an exciting new regional launch focused on transforming young people’s lives through sport, wellbeing, and employment.

Street League is a national charity working with young people aged 16 to 30 from some of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities, supporting them into education, training, and sustainable employment. Sport sits at the heart of everything they do, recognising the vital link between physical wellbeing, confidence, and long-term opportunity.

The role

As Operations Manager for North Scotland, you will hold overall responsibility for Street League’s operations across the Highland Inner Moray Firth region, with Inverness as your base. This is a senior role with both strategic and hands-on responsibility, establishing Street League’s presence locally while shaping its long-term growth across the wider North Scotland area.

You will oversee programme delivery, operational performance, financial management, and income generation targets, ensuring the highest standards of delivery and impact. Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will be a key member of the Operations Management Team, contributing to national strategy while leading regional implementation.

A core part of the role involves building strong partnerships with local authorities, schools, employers, and community organisations to maximise outcomes for young people. You will play a central role in embedding Street League within the Highlands, creating sustainable relationships that support growth, reach, and long-term impact.

What we are looking for

Street League is seeking an experienced, values-driven leader with a strong operational background and a genuine commitment to social impact. You will be confident managing teams, budgets, and performance targets, while also being comfortable working collaboratively with partners across multiple sectors.

You should be motivated by purpose, resilient in the face of challenge, and capable of working independently while contributing to a wider national organisation. Experience in the charity, public, or community sector is advantageous, but above all, Street League is looking for someone who shares its belief in the potential of young people and the power of opportunity.

What is on offer

This role offers the opportunity to shape and lead a growing regional operation within a nationally respected charity. Street League is a Living Wage Employer and places strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, inclusion, and development.

Benefits include enhanced annual leave of up to 31 days plus bank holidays, a full festive shutdown in December, pension contributions, health and wellbeing support, and access to learning and development opportunities. All offers of employment are subject to a PVG check.

Closing date

Applications close at close of business on Sunday 11 January 2026.
