Police Scotland is recruiting Police Officers to serve communities across Scotland.

The role
You will work as a frontline Police Constable, protecting people, preventing crime, and responding to incidents within your community.
You will engage with the public, gather information, make decisions under pressure, and uphold the law fairly and professionally.
You will be trained to handle a wide range of situations, from routine community policing to more complex operational duties.
You will work as part of a close team while also taking personal responsibility for your actions and decisions.
You will continue to develop your skills through structured training and on the job experience.
Working pattern
This is a full time permanent role.
Police officers work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Posts are available across Scotland.
What we are looking for
You must be aged 18 or over at the point of application.
You must have lived in the UK for a minimum of three years.
You must hold a manual driving licence.
You must meet fitness and medical standards required for police service.
You do not need formal qualifications, but you must demonstrate integrity, communication skills, resilience, and sound judgement.
