Portree Knitwear & Edinburgh Woollen Mill is recruiting Seasonal Sales Assistants to join its team in Portree for the 2026 summer season.
This role suits friendly, reliable people who enjoy working with customers and take pride in delivering a first class retail experience in one of the Highlands’ busiest tourist destinations.
The role
Being the face of Portree Knitwear and delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Supporting customers with purchases and product queries.
Keeping stock replenished and well presented.
Maintaining high visual and housekeeping standards across the store.
Working as part of a team to ensure a smooth and welcoming shopping experience.
Working pattern
Seasonal positions for Summer 2026.
Full time and part time hours available.
Shifts available during the day, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
What we are looking for
A positive, approachable manner.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work flexibly during busy seasonal periods.
Reliable and team focused attitude.
Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential.
