The Great Glen Hostel
The hostel is looking for experienced housekeepers to join the team for the March to October 2026 season.
The site includes twelve bunk rooms and four double rooms, with a busy turnover of guests across the season.
You will help keep the hostel running smoothly by cleaning all bedrooms and public areas, stripping and making beds, handling laundry and ensuring the whole place is kept to a spotless standard.
There may be occasional cleaning duties at a second site nearby.
Light kitchen work is also part of the job, including helping with breakfast service before starting housekeeping duties.
You will be joining a hardworking team in a popular Highland hostel and restaurant that continues to evolve and grow.
Hours and pattern
The working week is six days on and one day off.
Hours run from seven in the morning until three in the afternoon.
What you need
• Previous experience in a housekeeping role
• Motivated, reliable and willing to muck in where needed
• Comfortable taking on additional duties that support both the hostel and restaurant
• Full right to work in the United Kingdom
• Full driving licence and your own vehicle
