Badanloch Estate is recruiting a Seasonal Live In Assistant Housekeeper to join its team in Kinbrace from April 2026.
This role suits someone who is practical, flexible and comfortable living and working in a remote Highland estate setting.
The role
You will support the Housekeeper with general housekeeping duties across the lodge.
You will assist with lodge changeovers between guest stays.
You will support with laundry and linen management.
You will help during meal times when required.
You will contribute to maintaining high standards for returning guests.
Working pattern
The role is seasonal from April until mid October 2026, with exact dates to be agreed.
The position is live in and customer facing.
Flexibility is required depending on guest bookings and occupancy.
The estate is in a relatively remote location and access to a car would be beneficial.
What we are looking for
Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential.
You must be reliable and willing to take direction from the Housekeeper.
You should have good interpersonal skills and a positive approach to guest interaction.
You must be comfortable with the physical aspects of housekeeping work.
This role may suit a student seeking seasonal employment, though it is open to all suitable applicants.
