Velocity Design is looking for someone who lives and breathes SEO, someone who knows why headings matter, how to build a clean schema and how to turn a mess of data into a plan that clients can trust.
You will join a small, friendly team in Inverness working across a wide mix of projects for clients throughout the UK, including Velocity’s sister company iZurch, and no two days will ever look the same.
You will spend your mornings speaking with clients, understanding what they want and shaping a strategy that makes sense for their business and their market.
You will work with industry standard platforms to gather the clues you need, from search behaviour to backlink profiles to the odd surprise that turns a campaign around.
You will create content that reads well for humans and works well for search engines, keeping your copy clean, engaging and on brand.
You will work closely with designers and developers to bring ideas to life and make sure the final results match the strategy you set.
You will negotiate backlinks with confidence and build relationships that support long term growth.
You will track results, evaluate what is working and prepare reports that tell the story clearly.
This is a full time role with flexible home working, but being based near Inverness is ideal for meetings, client visits and the simple value of being in the same room when it counts.
