Police Scotland is recruiting Special Constables to support policing across the Highland and Islands.
This role suits people who want to give something back to their community, experience frontline policing, and develop practical skills while supporting regular police officers.
The role
You will work alongside regular police officers to support policing activity in your local area.
You will help keep communities safe by engaging with the public and responding to incidents.
You will assist with patrols, events, and operational duties as required.
You may have opportunities to deploy to different areas within the Highlands and Islands, depending on operational need.
You will uphold professional standards and represent Police Scotland positively at all times.
Working pattern
This is a voluntary role with flexible hours.
Commitment levels vary and can be discussed during the application process.
Training is provided before deployment.
