Morsgail Lodge is recruiting a Stalker and Fishing Ghillie to join its team on a mixed sporting estate on the Isle of Lewis.
This role suits an experienced and confident individual who enjoys working with guests in a remote Highland estate environment.
The role
Taking guests red deer stalking across open hill ground.
Guiding guests during salmon and sea trout fishing from boat and bank.
Supporting walked up shooting activities as required.
Providing a high standard of guest care and professionalism at all times.
Assisting with general estate maintenance duties.
Working independently or as part of the wider estate team.
Working pattern
Full time role based on the estate at Morsgail Lodge.
Work includes guest facing activity and estate duties.
Remote rural setting requiring flexibility and self reliance.
What we are looking for
Experience taking guests out stalking across open hill ground.
Good knowledge of fly fishing from boat and bank.
A professional and courteous manner with guests.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
A valid firearms certificate is essential.
