Harbro Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Person to join its Lerwick Country Store team.
This role suits someone practical and physically fit who is comfortable working with stock and serving customers.
The role
You will receive, handle and despatch goods to customers.
You will manage stock rotation and replenishment.
You will ensure stock levels are maintained.
You will carry out general housekeeping duties within the warehouse and store.
You will assist customers and provide support on the shop floor when required.
Working pattern
This is a full time position.
The role operates Monday to Friday and includes Saturday working.
What we are looking for
You must be over 18 years of age.
You should have good communication skills and a pleasant manner.
You must be physically fit as the role involves manual handling and lifting stock.
You should be comfortable working with members of the public.
An agricultural, equine, pet or horticultural background would be an advantage but is not essential.
A forklift certificate would be beneficial, though training can be provided.
You must be able to work as part of a team and enjoy practical work.
